Jenna Reynolds has the answer and the cure for you.
The Tarot.
You may be familiar with the tarot as a pack of cards used to tell fortunes. But the tarot is more than that. It’s also a fun and imaginative way to come up with ideas, characters and plots.
Using tarot cards we will tap into the unconscious for story ideas and concepts that lie just below the surface of our conscious thoughts. We will explore the archetypal images of the tarot and use them to brainstorm ideas for the stories you are longing to tell.
All you will need for the workshop is a tarot deck and a willingness to open your mind to your possibilities as a creator of extraordinary and intriguing tales. No matter what genre you write–science fiction, mysteries, romance, suspense, fantasy, paranormal, literary–the tarot can aid you.
The week-long workshop will cover the following
• brainstorming with the tarot to come up with creative concepts and ideas for your stories
• using the tarot to create unique, fascinating characters
• plotting your story, novel or screenplay so that plotting is not only fun but intuitively inspired
• drawing on the power of tarot images to replenish your creative well when it runs dry.
This will be a hands-on workshop so be prepared to use your tarot deck. You may be surprised at what you come up with!
